Memory Lane...

As I reflect back on the past 37 weeks, I can hardly believe how fast it has gone! There are many memorable moments that I hope to remember far beyond the birth of our precious baby.

Baby boy or girl? We have gone back and forth guessing this entire pregnancy. The wait is almost over! 
Awesome. Chuck has been an awesome support. And, overall, this really has been an awesome pregnancy.

Braxton Hicks. I started experiencing these already around 26 or 27 weeks pregnant! Still going strong!

Yikes! Our prenatal class was super helpful, but also quite overwhelming at times. Ready or not!?!


Coaching. Baby C loved going to basketball games to listen to dad coach. He/she definitely loves basketball. :)
Overly blessed with showers. We don't know what we would do without amazing family, friends, and co-workers.
McDonald's. It's true - I've ordered from the drive-thru an average of once a week since I've been pregnant.
Middle name. Chuck jokes that our child's middle name should be McDonald.
Especially ready to have my body back. No more acid reflux, heartburn, and other unmentionables! :)
Root beer. Pretty much my only craving throughout the past few months of pregnancy.
Ecstatic. We can't wait to hold our little baby in our arms. What an amazing day that will be.
The name. Names are so important! Praying that the perfect names will be clear to us soon!

Although I could go on and on about the many different details of this pregnancy, I think that sums up a lot of it! Chuck and I can't wait to be parents. We know that we won't have all the answers, but as we've said throughout the past few months, "We're prepared to be unprepared." God is good - we can't wait to meet our little miracle!
