4 Months Old!

Our little "peanut" is growing up so fast. It's incredible! Zoe continues to brighten our days with her smiles. She's also been doing a whole lot of "talking" these days! Some other recent highlights:

• It's fun to see the new things Zoe tries each day. She can fit her entire fist in her mouth (pretty incredible!) and loves grabbing for anything and everything that's within reach. She's recently started reaching out for Alli and has started to hold her own bottle!
• Zoe has rolled from her tummy to her back a number of times, but not from her back to her tummy yet. She, instead, enjoys scooting her body by pushing off with her legs. :)
• We're a little afraid Zoe's going to enjoy being the center of attention when she gets older! If we are talking (especially in a larger group of people), she'll just start making really loud yelling noises to try and be louder than everyone else. It's quite hilarious! At least they're happy noises. We'll take those any day.
• Zoe still doesn't really like to be held by others all that much. We're hoping she grows out of this phase very soon, but I'm not counting on it!
• I started giving Zoe a bit of formula (1-2 bottles a day) to give myself a bit more flexibility. It's been great so far for us to do both!
• Zoe thinks sleeping through the night is no longer cool. She definitely spoiled us for the first two months. For the past month and a half or so, she's decided to be completely unpredictable with her sleep patterns (Surprise! She's a baby!). This makes for one tired Mommy and a sometimes cranky baby during the days, too.
• Naps are slowly becoming more predictable. A "good" day consists of a morning nap that's about 45 minutes, an afternoon nap that ranges from 1-3 hours (rarely 3!), and a dinnertime nap for about a half hour. This by no means is a schedule, just an ideal day. :)
